How to Beat Procrastination and Overcome Laziness : 6 Action Steps

Hey, wow to your time and money that you missed and lost, because you fail to take action, and I wish you learnt something the last time you missed an opportunity to make your dream a reality.
I know how painful it is when you fall into those self criticism, the self criticism that you could have done better! It all come together to one thing :

Laziness is a habit, and to overcome in areas of your life where you feel it, you must try to "just do it". Like the way you handle the habit of brushing and flossing your teeth, at odd days you don't feel like doing such vital routines but you got to MOVE!

You got to do it.

If you have nothing else to grab from this article, learn this three steps that I have learned through the years from inventors of all time.
1. Get up. 2. Go. 3. Pray. You have to have that zeal to move, you have to stand up, when you make a move in your life, things and people get moved and you life can get better.

The second step is to "GO.

Standing up, preparing, setting up the pace, getting organized  and motion.
Getting up is like accumulating energy and making a move is like utilizing the accumulated energy. Whatever state you find yourself, don't settle, don't relax, better things come to those who are on the go.

Always move forward.

The third smart thing to do is to pray, when you pray, you definitely have a surge of energy.

I love this prayer prescribed by Mark Zuckerberg, the co-founder of Facebook, "May the one who helped those who were here before us, help us make our lives a blessing." such prayers will naturally make you take positive action towards the realization of a worthy goal and your cherished aspirations.

I have noted 6 effective ways to overcome Laziness and stop procrastinating important decisions and life changing ideas, afraid that we may fail, afraid that things are not adequate, you will not fail when going after the right things. All you need to do is to get started, your ideas will mature fully only when you get started.

1. Develop enough why.

There's no reason to hold yourself back and say you can't do something in life unless you go for it and try to do it. Russell Westbrook.
One way I motivate myself is to identify enough reason for my actions. If you have enough why, there will be a 'how! You can use a piece of paper to make a short list of reasons for your contemporary goals.

I list them and keep them where I can easily see them and then revise them each time I lack motivation. You can keep them at your desk, at your room close to your bed, they can be a good source of motivation to take action and overcome laziness, second, you also need to make it time bound. Add time when these reasons have to be carried out.

2. Determine what has been stopping you all these while.

When you want to take that positive step, there's a limitating force that holds you back. What was your last procrastination, and what was your reason for procrastination . Before you do something, it is said your senses felt some how, and your memory argued and either agreed with the senses, then you arrived at a decision either by omissions or commission.
Simply look down to that point when you were unable to act that positive step was necessary. Then, remember that you are a creature of habit and prepare next time to resist the feelings that the senses signals to you, next time you have this feeling to draw back from what you have decided to do with your life.

I know you made this decision yourself and if you did, there's no reason to go back. Another thing about taking action about your decision and goals is to stop returning back to the decision when ones it is made, go all the way through, some of the reasons to stop are sour experiences at first blocks, you have to overcome your first block by trying better this time, it may not be easy but you have enough courage for just trying. Each time you check your reasons for trying and compare them to reason for not trying, and the formal wins you have to do it.

 If I had enough reason not to write this blog post, such as time, resources, and energy, I should also have other reasons to write it, it can transform someone else's life positively, it can generate a point to write other blog posts, I can earn money from it, I can gain popularity influence from this single blog post. Each time I compare these reasons I find It more fanatic to write, so I develop enthusiasm and become more optimized to do something because I have more beneficial reasons to write than relax and do other less important task.

If you need money, use browser to bookmark the Forbes website and each morning, visit the website and if your name is not in it, then go to work. If you are obase and believe in physical exercise, open your clothes and identify the abs size you currently have if it is out of your desired shape simple, go to gyme and walkout.

3. ‎Learn to overcome all fear.

One of the reasons we don't even try is the fear that we may fail. Take a step towards the feared thing.
When you face your problem they disappear. You become stronger by facing your problem. There is no problem I fight with ease you shouldn't either. Face your lazy habit and make sure you get reed of them. It could be from what people may think If you fail at realising your ideal goal, it could be because you failed the last time you tried. I know it is difficult when faced with fear and I also know that if one has enough reason, one can overcome any obstacles and make the changes they want. You can take this next step because with the same attitude I have made a lot of changes in my life, you can build your life, diligent, effective, productive, and pace setting. You can over that molehill hill that is been magnified by your imagination by overcoming fear. What is your fear, what delays you, are you honest about these, "just do it. Do it and make the kind of victory Edison made over the electric bulb, the victory Rosemary made over Budgeting and saving, you can take that step any time from now, it could have a trait of death but look up to the promise, the promise of Fortune at the other side for everything we want is at the other side of fear. When you overcome your fear you can move forward, you can make the kind of life advancement and fulfillment you crave.
To overcome your fear today, provided that what you want to do is not poison, "JUST DO IT." Go ahead, "JUST DO IT."

4. Keep great reminders.

Reminders has helped a lot in moving my life queit some distance now. I picked and agreed with the subject of making list from the Founder and CEO of Virgin, he said, "He said he used to do list and notes to record task and ideas. They have helped me a lot, I simply hold them and each time I feel a drop in motivation, all I do is to revise, the other sequence in this series, I check the reason why I must take action, then I pick motivation to do one small thing to gain a flow and each time I gain a flow, I move until I have moved my goal a distance. Things to remember when you are gathering your reasons for taking action :
  1. The people that will gain if you really do this one, two, or three task. Your family, friends, associates, and country
  2. What you are running from . Remember what you are running from that has brought you into taking this decision. You wanted something, freedom, health, happiness, food, money and what money can buy and sometimes your needs may be immaterial. Whatever it is, reminding yourself each time will inspire you to take action.

5. ‎Call on Associates to remind you.

You are on the lucky side when you have a true love, a friend, wife, brother, sister or parents who can motivate you to take action. Most of us don't and if you do, tell them about your plans that you want them to check on your activities to know when you are really busy with your commitment. It could be true phone calls, sms, and daily home visiting to remind you to go take action.

6. ‎ start small when there's no big.

The first step towards doing anything, is to start. It doesn't matter how large or small your start is, it is how big your commitment is, from that moment you commit yourself, providence and all manner of incident move naturally to your assistance. No matter how large the task is, no matter how big the goal is (you must as well have big goals) you just need to start and more ideas will come along the way, people, material assistance and meetings will converge only in favor of someone who take consistent action. I have a quick question for you, if you were giving a big meat, let's say an Elephant, and asked to eat it all, how would you eat it, it is one bite at a time, which is the same thing as handling your tasks one step, one thing, one shift, one word, one push, one action at a time, if you are not familiar with similar action taking on a lot at a time will overwhelm you and you can take going back and not to come back to your commitment. A step at a time, followed by other tiny efforts and looking back you have walked quiet a huge distance.


Develop harmony in your life, takeaway all the activities that disunite your emotions such as hate, envy, jealousy, arrogance, pride, revenge, and selfishness. Wake up, the world seems old but looks younger every day, you can start anytime and today is a time, you can take that action that make you feel fear, but you know you definitely need to take. Today you can wake up and be great, you can overcome Laziness and zoom in that future by creating an opportunity for it today, right here right now, in your home( Facebook and Apple companies were all started from homes and dometary ), in your dometary and create the kind of person you will feel joyful to leave with all your life.
